Huanghai Recreation Center
Huanghai Recreation Center, situated in the east of Yantai Hi-Tech Zone bordering the golden beach, covers an area of 24 hectares including bathing beach, Huanghai Trestle, Huanghai Pearl, Water Fairyland, Culture Square and Kangle Palace.
Since it opened to the outside in 1993, it accepts more than 2 millions visitors from home and abroad annually.

The Trestle and Huanghai Pearl
It stands as a compsing part of Huanghai Recreation Center. The Trestle is 624 meters long and 10 meters wide, consisting of bridge approach, yacht dock, trestle body and Huanghai Pearl. It is the longest trestle on the sea. The Huanghai Pearl is 30 meters high and its diameter is 21.8 meter, shining day and night.

Binhai Sightseeing Road
Beihai Sighting Road under construction starts from Yingbin Road in the west and ends in Horse-Raising Island in the east, divided into three sections-north, middle and south. Binhai North Road and Binhai Middle Road have been finished, totalling 10.8 kilometers and everything is done according to international standards. As the only international trunk road, it fully embodies the thought of "based on personnel", with laneway for the blind and marbled sidewalk. The whole Binhai Road extends along the sea, combining mountains, sea, islands and the city.

Sport Park
Yantai Sport Park is located in Yantai Hi-Tech Zone, covering 120.48 hectares and coming in two sections-the east section and the west section. The west park is for sport establishmets, covering 77.20 hectares. After finished, the Sport Park will include a central stadium with 40,000 seats, a 400-meter ground track field, a shooting gallery, a multifunctional gym, a swimming and diving gym, a comprehensive training gym, a tennis court, a basketball court, parking lot and some entertainment establishements. Yantai Sport Park not only can hold provincial comprehensive games, natioanl city games and international games for single item, but also stands as an ideal place for recreation and entertainment.

Science & Technology Park
The Science & Technology Park is located in Yantai Hi-Tech zone, against Phenix Mountain in the back and facing Huanghai Gulf. The park covers an area of 120,000 square meters, among which 10,000 square meters are for expert apartments, with its construction beginning in June of 1999 and ending in November of 1999. The sculpture which tops the park fully reflects the tenet of the Hi-Tech Zone-relying on science and technology, opening and flourishing.

Daiwang Mountain
Daiwang Mountain is the highest one in Yantai city proper, 401 meters above sea level. It borders Huanghai in the east and holds Zhulin Temple, with Mountain Ta in the west. On top of the mountain, the whole city can be seen.

Zhulin Temple
It lies in the south of Daiwang Mountain. It was first built in 1162 and destroyed in the war. It was rebuilt in Ming Dynasty and Qing Dynasty, but was destroyed completely during the Culture Revolution. Rebuilt in 1996, it opened in October of 1997. Zhulin Temple can be divided into three yards, covering 2 hectares among which the construction area is 3,771 square meters.
