--Brief introduction
The preparing work of Laishan Industrial Park began in October of 2001, and the construction in March of 2002. According to the layout, the park covers an area of 5,000,000 square meters. It is five kilometers from Yantai Port and one kilometer from Yantai Airport.

--Infrastructure construction
Until now, more than 25,000,000 yuan has been invested on infrastructure including roadbed, road surface induration, water, power and telecommunication. A good image has been set up for the park. 

--Projects
The park attracts investment while the construction is under way. By now, the park has introduced 60 projects with the investment totalling 
580,000,000 yuan. The newly attracted 10 projects this year have a total investment of 80,000,000 yuan. The 15 enterprises that have began production in the park can bring foreign exchange of 25,000,000 U.S. dollars. This year, the park intends to invest 30,000,000 on infrastructure to create good environment to attract more projects.
