Introduction of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Bureau and
Investment Attraction Bureau

  Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Bureau is in charge of foreign trade, foreign investment and economic cooperation, serving a government department. Laishan Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Bureau was set up in December of 1994, previously named Foreign Trade and Economy Committee. In April of 2001, it began to work with the newly founded Investment Attraction Bureau. In December of 2002, it was renamed Laishan Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Bureau, with one director general and two deputy director generals. It boasts the ability of translating Korean, Japanese, English and so on. 

Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Bureau is mainly responsible for attracting, examining and approving foreign investment, managing and providing services for foreign enterprises, examining and approving the processing trade of foreign enterprises, international economic cooperation, managing imported and exported commodities, accepting and settling the appeals of foreign enterprises.
